    1. no, not horror! although, I guess it would really depend on what kind of horror. if it’s something like Ewan McGregor’s “Nightwatch”, which is heavy on suspense but light on gore, then I’d be more accepting.

        1. I don’t like ghosts 😮 classic cheesy horrors like Freddy and Jason are okay but not really my cup of tea; the psychological scare fests like “saw” though, I won’t go anywhere near! I really like crime programs, but even some of them mess with my head too much (serial killers who mutilate and torture, etc.)

  1. If you asked me pre-Richard I would have said I disliked action movies. Looking at the pictures you have above I have seen and enjoyed most of them. I think some of his most attractive looks were as Lucas or John Porter (or Sir Guy but that was action too, right?)

I am enjoying your posts, thanks for taking the time to make them.

    1. I grew up watching action movies with my dad, and I still like them. they’re not all “rough ’em up and shoot them, but don’t make me think” flicks, a lot of them have decent storylines too 😉

      1. I love action too. I can still remember the day my grandmother and great-grandmother saw me blow off Snow White for Total Recall 😀
We are like the 3 Actioneers.

        1. don’t get me wrong, I love a good romance, drama, rom-com, etc. but it’s surprising to people when I say I like action. if a specific movie that we want to see is not at the theatre but we decide to go see a movie just for something to do, I almost always pick an action-thriller 😀

          1. I pick comedy (except rom-coms) every time, unless it’s something like Star Trek or Tolkien. I tend to avoid anything serious or romantic. If it weren’t for movies in buses, I would never have seen a Sandra Bullock film (and proud of it!), On the other hand, my taste for action movies is actually much less than it used to be. I am a picky movie-goer nowadays. 😀

          2. Action is pretty much my default setting. I have to be in a particular kind of mood to want to watch a drama or a comedy, with the chances of my wanting to watching anything romantic sitting pretty steadily at or below 1%, but I *always* want to watch things explode.
